As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been happy holding a paintbrush. However, it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I started really appreciating the different ways art is created, the ideas expressed by different artists, and the experience of being moved by a work of art. That has motivated me to explore all types of media: pencil, paint, watercolor, charcoal, ink and photography. I fell in love with each one, and have been improving my skills in these areas ever since. I may be a beginner, but that means I have a lifetime of creativity still ahead of me.
That’s the beautiful thing about the creative process. It isn’t limited to a specific career, personality type or background. It’s about accepting that each one of us can tap into our experiences and make something original with vision and work.
